UAE’s first Paediatric and Adult Liver Transplant Centre of Excellence opens

Congratulations to King’s College Hospital London Dubai on the successful opening of the UAE’s first Paediatric and Adult Liver Transplant Centre of Excellence on 4th November 2024. This milestone builds on the launch of the first liver transplant centre in Dubai in 2023, further expanding access to world-class liver care for both adults and children. The King’s Liver Transplant Centre of Excellence is a significant step forward in providing advanced, life-saving services to the UAE and beyond.

Professor Dhawan is Director of Paediatric Liver GI & Nutrition Centre and Clinical Director of Child Health at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Executive Medical Director for King’s Commercial.
