Education and training
People come to King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from all over the world to benefit from its educational expertise. One of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching Trusts, it trains more than 900 dentists, 750 doctors and 300 nurses every year.
The Trust is part of King’s Health Partners, a major provider of healthcare training and education in the UK, and offers clinical education and training placements Trust wide. The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services in addition to specialist services at its King’s College Hospital and Princess Royal University Hospital sites.
The education and training programmes of King’s Commercial Services and King’s International Consortium offer healthcare professionals a wide range of varied opportunities to upskill with some of the UK’s top medical services. These include neurosciences, cardiac care, haemato-oncology, bariatric and obesity medicine, stroke, metabolic and bariatric surgery, and major trauma.
We also offer our skills overseas and can create tailored clinical education programmes that allow care organisations to train their staff to the same high standards as required in the UK.
