King’s Commercial Services, in partnership with King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is delighted to offer access to King’s Academy.
This state of the art educational facility, featuring dedicated simulation, teaching and conference rooms, offers nurses, midwives and allied health professionals the opportunity to enhance their careers in healthcare.
Working closely with the King’s Commercial Services Education and Training team and clinical leads from King’s College Hospital Foundation NHS Trust, King’s Academy delivers face to face and online training and education, ran by our renowned faculty course leads.
The Academy can also support your meeting, training and conference needs with versatile hire spaces. We can work with you to reach a larger target audience through hybrid online and in-person solutions.
Located near Loughborough Junction Station and close to King’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill, this space is purpose built with healthcare professionals at its forefront.

Courses
Education, training and the ongoing development of the health and social care workforce are integral to the improvement of patient outcomes, safety and experience. King’s Academy offers nurses, midwives and allied health professionals easily accessible opportunities to grow in their roles, with a focus on excellence in education and patient safety.
The Academy runs accredited courses to support continuing professional development and refresher training. We can also work with you to design bespoke courses to help develop and enhance skills.
Simulation
The Academy houses two dedicated simulation rooms, containing one and two bedded bays, to provide simulation based education (SBE) – either stand-alone or as part of a wider blended programme. We use human patient simulators (HPS) to replicate an event, activity, environment or incident to provide the opportunity to learn in a ‘high-stress, low-risk’ environment.
Dedicated debriefing rooms are used for expert staff and teams to review the activity undertaken, exploring performance and delivering education, creating a completely safe environment to learn in.
Meeting, event and conference hire space
King’s Academy features three large versatile arch spaces that can house training, meetings and conferences. Each space is equipped with state-of-the-art AV, a large 86-inch plasma screen, two 55-inch repeater screens, built-in speakers, ceiling mounted camera for video conferencing, microphone, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. All spaces are located on the ground floor and accessible. The venue is fully DDA compliant.
